Quartet Profile
The ViewMasters began singing in October, 1975. The name came from their home church, "The Plainview
PFWB Church located 6 miles north of Clinton, NC on Hobbton Highway. They began singing in local churches
and special events and continued to do so until latter part of 1980. In 1988 lead singer Wayne Weeks spoke with each
member about getting back together for a reunion. The reunion was a great sucess and many of their fans wanted them to
continue singing, thus they did so on a very limited schedule. In 2002 they recorded a CD and video entilted
"25 Years of Southern Gospel". In April 2003 they recorded another CD entiled"Classic
Gospel" which consisted mostly of songs from the old Baptist Hymnal, better known as the "Red
Book"
